How to create a Spotify QR code

A Spotify QR code puts your music one scan away. Instead of hoping someone remembers a track or playlist name, they scan and it opens in Spotify ready to play — invaluable for artists and events where the moment to listen is right now.

  1. Copy the Spotify link (Share → Copy link) for a track, artist or playlist.
  2. Paste it above — a spotify: URI works too and is auto-converted.
  3. Style it (optional) with colours and a centre logo.
  4. Download as PNG, SVG or JPEG for posters, merch or cards.

Where Spotify QR codes are used

Artists on gig posters, merch and stickers pointing to a new release. Cafés and shops sharing their in-store playlist. Wedding and party signage for a communal playlist. Podcasters on business cards. Because the track opens instantly, a passing scan becomes a play, a follow or a save.

Spotify QR code FAQ

How do I create a Spotify QR code?

In Spotify, use Share → Copy link on any track, album, artist or playlist, then paste it above. The code opens that exact item in Spotify when scanned.

Does it work with spotify: URIs?

Yes. If you paste a spotify:track:… style URI, it is converted to the matching open.spotify.com link so any phone camera can open it.

Is this the same as a Spotify Code?

Spotify has its own in-app 'Spotify Codes' scannable only inside its app. This is a standard QR code any camera reads and opens in Spotify or the browser — better for print and general use.

Can I brand it?

Yes — set colours and add a centre logo in the design section, and use High error correction with a logo.

Is it free and permanent?

Yes — free, no account, unlimited scans, and the static code never expires.
